Yesterday we did cooking in after school! I have a takoyaki pan at my house, so I thought the kids would have fun making it with a non-Japanese teacher. I brought beni ginger, green onions, corn, and cheese as options for the kids to put in the takoyaki. All the kids wanted cheese and green onion, but no one wanted ginger!
We also had mayo, takoyaki sauce, seaweed, and bonito flakes for toppings of course. We found a good technique for turning the balls. One of the youngest students was actually the best!
