Today the students sewed different designs into a hand towel. I had them sew their initials in English, they all enjoyed picking two colors for their initials. Since this group is mixed in ages, they all started at different times. The younger girls needed me to show them how to thread the needle, knot the thread, and how to begin sewing. The older students were so excited that they refused my help because they wanted to show off how great they can sew. The boys seemed to enjoy this activity, it was very relaxing, we listened to calm english music in the background. They students told that they were having fun.
